Season’s Greetings,
Be More Colorful’s resident poet, Matt, has prepared a festive poem recounting our adventures in the past year. It’s very well thought out and wholesome. Watch it performed by Katie and Matt or read it in all its holly jolly glory below.
‘Twas our sixth year in business, and all through HQ
Be More Colorful’s growing, launching new experiences too
The year started with, at least for a while
Katie, Matt, Michael, Drew; Nadia and Kyle
New ventures for some, left us with four
Company growth looming, (Yikes, we need more!)
Hired Kryss to work post, then Maddy for comms
Add Canyon and Lynn, (Operation Intern’s the bomb!)
Our team laser focused, from a prior year’s shift
To emphasize workforce, (And funding through LIFT!)
Midway through the year, we’re a great team of seven
Workloads increasing, let’s grow to eleven!
We did need more funding, in order to grow
So we worked with Commerce, ’cause they’re in the know
ND is awesome, for a business this small
Lots of great programs, we looked at them all
Development Fund, was the perfect solution
Fully funding our efforts, (With no dilution)
Now we could partner, with all industry
Self-funding production, (Dare we say free?)
CareerViewXR, has moved to growth phase
To triple the content, our platform portrays
But, so many projects, what should we do?
Need someone to manage, Let’s hire, Katie 2!
And just when we thought, it couldn’t get better
Out of the blue, a nomination letter
TechND grants, on their own accord
Premier Technology Business, (A major award!)
The year’s last three hires, started with Clara
Then Russell and Karen, (No team can compare-a!)
The hires and funding, were just the beginning
New partnerships forming, now that’s real winning
Marketplace for Kids, put us to the test
Engaging with students, where we work the best
Our industry partners, VR content made,
Representing their industries, through trade after trade
Started reseller partners, with ByteSpeed and Bluum
Sending careers on headsets, to their clients soon
CareerViewXR, if you are a member,
On a new platform! (Goes live in December?)
Our workforce stance, now firmly staunch
Has primed next year, for a nationwide launch
So as ’22, comes to a close
Some one-year reflections, (Just not via prose)
